VegetablesWe grow a variety of different vegetables in permanent beds using deep mulch and minimal irrigation. Our goal is to increase organic matter in the soil and encourage beneficial microorganisms to outcompete the harmful ones. This creates crops that are less susceptible to disease and pests, are higher in nutrients and taste better. We select varieties that oftentimes cannot be found in the grocery store.

EggsDuring the warm seasons, we raise chickens in mobile coops that we rotate through our woodland. The shade provided by the forest canopy protects the flock from the summer heat. Every year the land improves and whole ecosystem benefits. In the winter, they are moved to the chicken yard with a permanent coop where they are protected from the elements.

PorkWe aim to raise pigs in their natural environment, in a way that is symbiotic with nature. Our property is mostly woodland so in order to utilize this space, which is unfit for typical garden production, we create paddock style plots to rotate pigs. The rotation keeps them busy searching for new bugs, roots and plants to forage and reduces odor and disease pressure. We sell pork by half and whole animals.
